I think that totally depends on the GOP.

For many here it's Obama's fault that he gets blocked by those nutjobs. They blame him for stuffed up economy that was left behind by Bush. Well that didn't wash with the American voters. They know exactly who created the mess they are in, and they saw Romney was going to take them back to the Bush approach.

Yeah, people are easily baffled by BS.

Good thing that so many americans voted against obama.

Yea we see it everyday in the news how people can believe BS. Man made global warming is one of those easily baffled by BS stories i love.

Silly people still buy into that crap.

Yup, thats exactly what the pundits on Bull**** mountain say all the time. Thats where all the big oil money is and they hate environmental regulation. It eats into their profits.

Which is more likely killa?

Millions of scientists around the world are using their very limited science budgets to do a massive science conspiracy for some absurd reason.... or.... a small group of oil billionaires are fudding the water so they dont have to pay for environmental regulation?

Probably has something to do with population density? Not sure, I just read it was to stop the big states pushing around the smaller states.

Yeah, during my review of articles on it that is what they do mention. But the counter arguments are that - as I pointed out with California - it still doesn't stop the larger states carrying way more weight while others say it actually gives the least populated states a bigger say than what they may merit.

Then there's the whole aspect that you can win the election while losing the popular vote. Also, it gives a lot of value to the swing states. A review of the 2004 elections showed a disproportionate amount of time and money was spent on the swing states by both Kerry and Dubya, and critics believe many of those states do not warrant that and it makes them more powerful than others. But then I suppose the same thing would happen in a popular vote. Why worry about Wyoming (50th in pop., 49th in pop. density) when you have the densely packed North-East?

Just seen on Facebook....

:wtf:

The right wing are currently so far to the right, that anyone left of Genghis Khan is a socialist. By my standards Obama is too moderate. He has too many right wing tendencies. These people are so far right, that he seems the same as Chavez. Just shows you how broken those people are.

Sucks to be a bleeding heart lefty these days. Even the EU is right-wing when it comes to economics. Sweden is becoming more right-wing.

No real bleeding heart left candidate in America.

There is still hope...

Pretty much right. No more Nelson Mandela's or Dali Lama's in America. Jill Stein is the leader of the Green Party and is my personal favourite. This just shows you how far right wing Americans are, when they think someone on the right like Obama is left wing. Totally and utterly warped.

Kinda sad obama had to label himself a Christian to win it though :\

Agree, don't believe for a second the man is religious.

Just shows how ****ed up most human beings are - They won't trust someone unless they profess belief in a magical sky-god. It's very strange.

But he's a socialist :erm:

People that believe in God are generally not meta-ethical moral relativists so I suppose a safe bet if you want to come across as more trustworthy. Hitler professed believe and so does Obama and guess what, it worked for them, they are playing the system.

You guys consume the wrong media.

It'll be a Romney landslide. Not that he's my choice (can't stand his policies) but the people are fed up with Obama. He did keep one campaign promise - doggy for the girls.
Sigh. Another wrong prediction by my fave Marxist media. Pity, really - they're often quite good at seeing capitalist resurgence.

Ah well. Thank goodness the Republicans didn't make POTUS. With the little Fiscal Cliff ahead, and a much bigger one looming next year or so, it's far better that a Dem drive America over the edge.

Oh, by the way ghoti - you're wrong to call me right wing. I execrate the Right as much as I do the Left - they're all socialists and statists and indistinguishable in their assaults on liberty. There's no difference in my eyes between Hitler (Right) and Lenin (Left). Those categories are outdated by at least 150 years.

I believe in fairness and justice for all, which is why I'm a (classic) conservative.
