I reported an issue to Volkswagen SA where there is a factory fault with the security on the Polo Vivo Sedan. It does not seem like they are interested in responding or taking the matter seriously.
I managed to reproduce the issue on 3 different cars last week. I reported it to the rental agencies I hired the car from but I do not expect them to take it up either.
I would say this much. Do not buy a Polo Vivo Sedan or hire one.....

Why on earth would you go to the effort of posting that (and even remembering your password to log in) if you're not actually going to tell anyone what the fault is?

Because its potentially dangerous to tell the public?Criminals are everywhere....

So then why post at all and indirectly diss the product

Just what I was thinking - I loathe people who choose to remain anonymous and then rip something off and don't hang around in case there's an argument!

Well considering he specifically mentions the sedan I'm guessing it's related to the boot and it opening quite easily by some or other means.

Probably a case of bumping it in just the right place and the lock releasing.
