Hello I Have a Netgear DGN2200 router. I would like to port forward port:25565 because i have a minecraft server running on an old laptop. (i have done this before using my older D-Link router) but it will not work with my Netgear router. I think it is because it is showing my IPV4 as 10.0.0.5 where as the D-link was showing something similar to. 194.25.65.1 . But i also could be anything

any help will be greatly apprieciated :)

Is your Netgear behind another router perhaps? Wont do double NAT.

How are you testing it?

If you're testing it from your own LAN, then it could be that the DGN2200 does not support NAT loopback - which means that the port forwarding only works for Internet clients and not for LAN clients.

Lastly, ensure that you don't have a firewall enabled on that old laptop.
