What about some guy ropes with pegs in the ground like a tent so the wind doesn't blow it over?
It's astro, not grass unfortunately.

sweet. Here's my setup now. Removed the hooks on the original design and drilled holes through the frame instead. Was running the panels in parallel and was only getting 135/200 watts, but it was late-ish in the afternoon. Managed to get it close to 150 with some slight repositioning.
Will do a quick writeup shortly on how I put it together.
sweet.
Where'd you get the PVC? Last time I looked it was unreasonably expensive. (don't have panels yet but need for another project)
Ah ok. And they have all the joining bits and stuff?Builders. Cost like R26 for 20mm x 4 meters I think.

I would pick the River 2 Pro over that Bluetti because of the following:That said, looks like might be a better idea to wait for the ecoflow river 2 pro over the bluetti.
So been looking at getting an ecoflow or bluetti. Thread has been a good read, so thanks all. Looking for something to run my laptop and 2 montiors for working from home during loadshedding. And then maybe my TV after hours. Figured these would do the trick?
That said, looks like might be a better idea to wait for the ecoflow river 2 pro over the bluetti. Given the ecoflow can also be plug and play and the bluetti appears you need to unplug and charge. Big con for me personally.
How accurate is techguys price on the new ecoflow I wonder? Hoping this might drop elsewhere on the 16th as well? Does anyone know?

I would pick the River 2 Pro over that Bluetti because of the following:
Firmware and app support. It is great that Ecoflow can fix issues via firmware with the Bluetti you get what it has and it will never be improved. The app is also nice because it allows you to customize settings according to your needs.
Fast charging and internal charger. The external brick on the bluetti is bulky and it has a fan that is always on while plugged in even when the unit is fully charged... It is a proprietary charger that can get lost and It would be hard to find replacement. It only charges at 200W.
The only problem is that I dont think that the 2 Pro is getting released on the 16th of March along with the River 2 and Delta 2. I haven't seen any ETA on the 2 Pro.![]()
Gizzu is also not coming out with the Titan range anymore. They probably are having issues with the manufacturer.https://www.techguysa.co.za/product-recall - Gizzu product recall
Thanks for the heads up! Just checked mine and it's not in the batch of recall units.
Lucky you, new unit coming your way
Yeah although may ask for refund as now there are lifepo4 options on the market.Lucky you, new unit coming your way![]()
