I'll play around with it all before I start pulling wire and may move a few things around before I finalise the plan.
Just kinda thought I would get more peace of mind if I could keep the more valuable items in a more secure area and obviously things like the CCTV DVR can not be moved around.

So while Lifepo4 is undoubtedly better, I've been running my Delta with it's NMC chemistry for almost two years through all the ups and downs of load shedding and it's still at about 800-900wh of its rated 1260wh. Only switched to my Bluetti a month or so ago as my daily driver because I want to preserve the lifespan on the Delta since it can handle things like my microwave, which the Bluetti can't.

But yeah, I would get Lifepo4 rather than NMC if given the option.

yeah mileage may vary. With my use, I was sure to get many years from the Gizzu but when spending R20k it makes sense to go LifePo4.

They are branded differently and do sell for slightly different prices online so I added them as separate items even though they are basically the same thing.

And Mustek probably imports them from a Chinese OEM. But ya, I'm not going to nitpick through each item to see if they have minor different specs. Just did what made the most sense based on costs at the time.

Just mentioning it cause only found out today.
I was under the impression it was someone else bringing in the same units as competition to Mecer.
It's in fact Mustek bringing in Kool and re-branding some as Mecer.

What do replacement batteries cost vs the price of the new version? After 2 years of use plus maybe 5 to 7K for replacement batteries, you're probably still coming out ahead. (And you'll get more than 2 years - 2 years is just for minimum degradation = You'll probably still have 70%+ capacity at that point).
I'd go for it if I had the bucks.

I don't know if this is a DIY or even if you can send it to Ecoflow (where?) to have it refurbished with new batteries?

Seems it is an option in Canada and USA (to buy refurbished, but not sure if they can "replace" your battery for a fee), but no idea about South Africa (I did check the Facebook Forum and no info there):

It is basically impossible for regular people to ship batteries overseas so this isn't really an option if Ecoflow ZA doesn't offer it.

Also, no, they don't replace batteries. Once the batteries are dead, take the unit to an e-waste company.

This one has a PWM controller and not MPPT one I would like to have the option to add solar panels later and not have to buy another unit in future I would prefer Lifepo4 batteries and the option to run my freezer when they steal the cables Else, it will only be used for PCs or TV (not at the same time) I am happy to wait for new stock Any advice ?
