You can control and monitor the device from HA instead of using their app.
I haven't setup any automations on mine yet. It's only powering my laptop, monitors and a NUC and I haven't seen it drop below 80%.
I do want to get another EcoFlow for my 3D printer then I'll setup an automation to pause a print when the battery is at 20% (likely 4 hour load shedding slot) and resume when power is back.

Oh! The 1 automation I did setup is to turn on the built in light when motion is detected in the room and there's load shedding.

Doesn't work for my River Pro, the newer wifi firmware will break this integration.

Yea got mine as well.
Here it is running 5port network switch, DS220+ NAS, 65"Hisense and Fire TV Cube:
It has sent me down a rabbit hole though as I want to give it a battery to charge it when there is no power and increase it's battery capacity.
Was thinking the following should give me an extra 4 to 6 hours life and make it possible to charge it at 350-400w.
12v100AH lithium battery.
10A 240W 12V to 24V Converter Step Up Voltage Regulator.
Some kind of charger for the battery that will not mess with the step up converters output.
What do you guys think?

yeah, after the firmware update it closed the local access to port 8055, peeps have emailed ecoflow guys to rollback to previous firmware or you can ask them to push new firmware with your serial number to open the port again.
PS... thanks for the extra battery, it's woking perfectly with the river pro
where will you get that? What is the efficiency?

Have you heard a fan noise yet? I haven't been using mine much (thanks Eskom) but I still haven't had a fan switch on.

Yes I have, Nothing major in my view but I know some would complain.
Give it a 400w load for about 10 minutes if you want to hear.

If it takes 400w for an extended period that is seriously good! The Gizzu is loud over 100w (loud as in can't watch TV with it in the room).
That sucks, I was going to look into this but I am not not going to constantly email them every time a new firmware comes along or stay on older firmware. I was kinda hoping that Home Assistant works by logging into the Ecoflow account and accessing settings thought their servers. /Im not familiar with Home assistant.

I just tested, t 155w it took it around 50 minutes for the fan to kick in and it stayed on for around 5 minutes.
Not very loud, but you will hear.

Why would you need to step it up anyway?
Can't you just connect it to the DC input?
Charging too slow?

The 5-year warranty on the new EcoFlow range probably seals it for me.
If it is honoured locally.
