Portable Power Stations

noted, thanks but dont think can wait any longer, this load shedding crap driving me crazy.

There are loads of other options that don't have the 800 cycle limit.
eg:

Some here would say 800 is enough but with no end in sight Rather pay the tad more instead of buying twice.

Sidenote: I see the Geewiz one is sold out already. Man i'm in the wrong business.

that was a good price no wonder "sold out" I've been using a genny but with fuel costs/servicing and dB levels not worth it. pls keep this thread updated AlphaJohn if hear of anything else. my budget will allow for up to 30K. love the concept of portable power as sometimes move around

Not in the market any more so don't actively watch prices, but I am sure people will post here when they see ones.

Bought a Kool 1KW LFP for R12k back in March and very happy with my unit. Even took it camping over the long weekend. Have a bigger inverter for home use.

There is a river pro 2 with LFP but not in SA.... yet

Yeah that's why I said "River 2 Pro (coming soon)". All of the gen "2" ones are with LFP. ETA on the River 2 Pro was June but I see they now say that it has been postponed. Not sure why.

I would compare this to the Delta 2 (R21,500 at Builders but stock is running low).

Any idea what app they use? I don't see one for it in the play store.
I wrote to the supplier regarding the App for for the Singo PPS's, as I also couldn't locate it.

It's called IEE Portal.

at least for a few years.. what a clusterf!

The Ecoflow "2" models and Delta Pro are all LFP models.
I would get one of those. 5 year warranty.
New Ankers also have a 5 year warranty and LFP - but who provides it? Dunno.
Bluetti is also LFP and gives a 2 year warranty locally.

Geewiz, 2.2kW unit with 2kWh battery. R19K. It however doesn't state chemistry type and cycle life.
No idea about warranty either. Charges 0-100% in 2hours.

It is this, and yeah it has LifePo4 and 3000 plus cycles:

They have to confirm though or provide battery voltage. You know Chinese enclosures can house different components. Strange they don't push the LFP 3000 cycle thing on the Geewiz website.
Somebody couldn't copy paste correctly and without any knowledge to what's important or not regarding specs - Geewiz ain't that great with specs from what I've seen.

My 2cents.

Are these guys for real with these prices?

Nope. 99.75 persent sure that's a scam site.

Edit. Make that 100%.
Only Eft payments. The address does not check out. You magically win shipping when you check out. They sell a 3000w Bluetti for way below cost. And another 2000w one for 10k when they ussally sell for over 30k.

Hard pass.

Where did you see their ad?
