I looked, I thought maybe they were the car wash and was looking to buy something waterproof so the parcel won't get water damaged :)
 
Would it be worth getting the Nexus 10 32gb directly from Google Play and having it shipped here with Post Box courier?

Lol, the the camera that I almost sourced in Aus, had they accepted my CC, was WR, so wouldn't have been an issue! :D

Sigh, you were right with your first assumption, they are part of that import/export company next to the car wash :(
Car wash would have been more awesome, anyhow, have a couple of ebay aussie bids going, lets see if I win them, some damn aussie keep pushing my bids up.

It would just work out more than buying it directly from Esquire.
 
ok dont know about the nexus, just ordered some binoculars to be delivered to their usa place tuesday, quite interested to see how it will pan out with final costs, time etc.
 
Just got my goods from postbox courier today. Quick efficient service. I can't believe they deliver to my door for the price I paid. Gary kept me in the loop and followed up when I was not home to accept the parcel. Will definitely be using them again for all my ebay purchases.
 
Okay, so I paid for my shipping from the US on Thursday, but as of this morning my parcel is still reflecting not shipped. Have dropped them a mail to find out what the issue is.

I was just about to do the same. My parcel at US depot has been sitting there since Thursday (paid Thursday night), and it hasn't dispatched yet. Please let me know what they say?

Just got a reply back from them to say they can only check when New York opens for business this afternoon our time.

Funny this always happens to the parcels that are needed super-urgently, and no, it's not a gadget :p
 
Thanks for the response! I was thinking the dude at the US Depot probably took the day off in anticipation of the Superbowl.

Mine's not urgent, but is valuable!! Couple of 1st edition comics...
 
So you only get the delivery cost once they receive the parcel right?

Also, anyone know of way to get approximate parcel dimensions or standard box sizes from Amazon?

As mentioned earlier in the thread, all US parcels travel via the UK. Whether it's cheaper or not, I don't know as I've only used them from the US.
 
I paid for my shipping the moment I was notified, reflected as such immediately. Didn't show as "shipped" until a few days after that, but parcel arrived the next day.

Aha... so their ops are on the ball but admin is a bit slow then... or the courier's admin is a bit slow. Where did you send from, UK or US?

Was from the US, not sure if it went via UK, suspect it did. Am also glad to say that it was two smallish envelopes from Amazon, they repacked it quite securely for further shipping.
