PostBox-Courier.com how to

Gary no longer seems to answer emails regarding this issue so maybe it's a non starter. Pity though as I prefer to support the small business.

Yes, this situation is truly sad, but while the website is still up, there's some small sliver of hope.

Have you heard something or just speculating?

Nah ... just messing around. I doubt Gary would intentionally do something stupid, but it has been a long time since they operated. I did not pay any duties on my package in December and perhaps the way he shipped had something to do with it. If that is the case, then he could have been forced to stop until he sorts out the mess [speculating]

I had emailed him last month and he replied straight away saying:

"The agent we were using in the UK closed down, so we couldn't receive uk orders or the American transhipments.

We're trying to set up with a new agent, but they have to have certain approvals from Customs, which not everyone has.

We will resume the service just as soon as we can. Unfortunately I can't give a date. "

ok so postbox courier is closed? what is the best option then for a parcel from the USA(RMA)?

eh well off on a magical 3 hour long adventure I go what could have been a simple "this service you idiot" ;)

Sooo....... The Postbox-Courier website seems to be open again to booking parcels. The message is gone, and you can now book a parcel. Still no email response from Gary though. Also, it's only allowing shipments to the UK depot. Does that mean we can't order from US sites?

Yeah it is a pity, although their website was really basic they did provide a great service.

I used forward2me for my last shipment - they ship to you via DHL.

This is the UK service, right?

MyUS is expensive...did you look at responses about the other options?

Well I thought about using them but they came up that my RMA will need a monthly subscription or some other service fee. Which will make them more expensive than the other options.

I checked out the other ones mentioned here are and since the 11th only myUS had replied.

I am in a strange conundrum, If i rma it might cost me more in shipping that just buying a new card. I need a US address to RMA at all.

Only 2 legit ones that I found on the internet, otherwise I will be throwing away a R5000 card. :(

I've registered with Stackry.com and placed my order with Amazon. Waiting for the items to be sent to their depot in tax-free NH. I'll post updates on how things go, and what the costs work out to.

I've noticed that they have a referral system, from which you can score some discounts:

Invite your friends or colleagues and they will get a $10.00 discount off their first shipment, and when they ship you get $10.00 off of your next shipment.

So if anyone plans to register and use their services, let me know, I'll send you a referral link, and we can both score $10 of our shipments. Send me a PM.
