Occam's Razor is a very healthy approach to the standard understanding of conditions and circumstances.

You cannot apply a scientific approach to understanding the ways of an endlessly abused system. If you're lucky (or they've done it cleverly enough) you'll get glimpses of partial truths at best.

- Eskom is in reality 100% controled by the ANC since they adjusted the management structure many months ago.
- The ANC must keep the lights on to a fair degree, but appear shy of doing meaningful work to secure the electric future. (Station repairs taking far too long and often poorly approached, lack of any new very needed coal projects underway, constant revealing of highly abusive profiteering at their highest levels..)
- The financially troubled ANC are being massively funded by international influencers who are manipulative "climate change emergency" drivers. (And likely all Socialist as well.)
- The ANC are Socialists (and let's not forget, the policing-role DA are as well). The Socialist ideal is to first destroy the awful structure and gains of the evil Democratic Capitalistic way - fact.

- Feed at the electric-grid trough
- Keep the purse string holders happy
- Hold on to the capital gains
- Meet the long term Socialist requirements of the comrades
- "Deal with" the chaos going on within many of the power stations
