We all know it's going to be a lot of 'promises' and BS. After the election, loadshedding will be back and they'll have a million excuses

They did say that 5000mw of private solar had been installed (and then took credit for it), I guess that is enabling them to not run units all dayInteresting
You mean they are guessing right? As they are claiming a drop in demand but that could also just be explained by businesses closing. As 5GW is over 70% of residential demandThey did say that 5000mw of private solar had been installed (and then took credit for it), I guess that is enabling them to not run units all day

Apparently it can work out cheaper for the IPPs, though that was the Spokespersons comment a few years back.I'm curious to know why eskom chooses to only use IPP OCGTs some days.

If it keeps it up, this will be the first month in a looooong time that sits at 58%
There was June last year if I remember correctly, but I think it was just just on 58%, but yeah look even 2022 wasn't a great EAF, 2022 only managed that cause of COVID.
Oh, I thought we were talking about April only. There was June last year if I remember correctly, but I think it was just just on 58%, but yeah look even 2022 wasn't a great EAF, 2022 only managed that cause of COVID.
But according to the conspiracy theorists they are running all the diesel and not maintaining anything. It's only 2% lower then last years maintenance.
Ah yeah April only makes more senseOh, I thought we were talking about April only.
