Vox Weather why??The coal is going to be too hot to burn...
Reminds me of that game show joke: give him another chance, give him another chance. It's like some sort of stupid version of the lottery, with even less chance of guessing the outcome.
Indicator of incoming demand curve. More accurate than Eskom.Vox Weather why??
In May, Daily Maverick reported Eskom had blown R12.4-billion on diesel in just four months. To put this into perspective, it took eight months for Eskom to spend R12-billion on diesel last year. With R24.3-billion blown as of 28 November, this means its diesel expenditure has more than doubled for the same period this year.
All that these morons understand is if its finished or not. They don't have the brain capacity to ration or budget. Its not finished yet therefore there is no problem.Update on diesel situation. Only R3.6bn left in the kitty (basically a month and a bit):

Billions blown — Eskom on track to overshoot emergency diesel budget for year
Eskom is devouring diesel to run its emergency generation fleet — which was intended only for dire emergencies or use during peak demand periods.www.dailymaverick.co.za

No worries, they'll just borrow moreHow can this be sustainable?
There's no word for sustainable in Pedi. So, it's going to be a rough start to the new year. No idea what they going to do from Jan - April when the new budget is allocated.
How can this be sustainable?
It took a while the last time though. No proactive actions from these lot. Hopefully it causes stage 8 just before elections and all the anc voters have lost their jobs.No worries, they'll just borrow more
Ah freaking hell 12 hours of no power, tickets still sitting in created state... Loooove City power
Ah ffs that sucksSorry to hear. A mate down the road from me has been without power for 48hrs now and they don't even have it on the "list of repairs" to be doing.
Ah ffs that sucks
Freaking hell that really sucks :-(, for me this always seems to happen when it's cloudy and it's always just a few streets around me. I literally saw my neighbours lights go on and the streets light across the road go on, mine remained off.To add insult to injury; his inverter got hit by lightning last week. They replace it yesterday - but it can't be switched on a setup, without grid power. So, batteries and panels just chilling...
At least peoples power bills will be super cheap this month. I'm sure CP are aware if they want to make any money from sales.Sorry to hear. A mate down the road from me has been without power for 48hrs now and they don't even have it on the "list of repairs" to be doing.
Yup, cause if it wasn't it would be 1.8, though it was supposed to be offline already from the 24th, guess unit 1 taking so long to come up.
Well, it bounces around between 1.1GW and 1.4GW, up and down. Start of the week, 1.3GW, end of the week, 1.3GW. Good stories I tell you.Yup, cause if it wasn't it would be 1.8, though it was supposed to be offline already from the 24th, guess unit 1 taking so long to come up.
