Yeah 8 hours instead of 10?? I mean yeah terrible and for some it's 6 instead of 10.Not really that much better, still terrible over all, just 2 hours less
We generally have +2h on what everyone else has. Excluding "breakdowns", a daily occurrence here. Over any average week we have 10-12h ANC powah per day.Yeah 8 hours instead of 10?? I mean yeah terrible and for some it's 6 instead of 10.

No only prayer power that it won't take over 6 hrs. We've been caught twice. Once was at the very end when load shedding kicked in and another time City Power turned us off for 5 seconds but it was early into the update. Neither caused any problems but the day will come. Thing is we don't know what to invest in. We have a 1kva inverter that would allow us to finish any long installations. But any ups we've looked into has gotten bad reviews. All we want is something that will keep the pc going till we get the inverter going.Big-ass UPS?
Not the 80s anymore. You can't hide anything anymore, the world knows what is going on. A fact the ANC doesn't understandEskom seeks a new CEO. Reporting to the board, the successful candidate must end more than five years of blackouts in 12 to 18 months – or he/she will become a convenient scapegoat and public punching bag. You should be comfortable dealing with corrupt politicians, a decrepit park of power stations, a meager maintenance budget and a coal lobby determined to stop expansion into solar and wind power. Some finance experience is desirable as the company is running an unsustainable debt load of more than $20 billion. Salary is negotiable, but paid in a currency that, due to the electricity crisis, has fallen 40% against the US dollar in the last five years. Should you choose to apply, please send us your CV to: worstCEOjob@eskom.co.za
That's a good read!
Wish they would leave Windows 10 alone, or at least bring back the old Windows 7 way of doing things.
We're using RCT UPSes, never had anything bad with them.Thing is we don't know what to invest in. We have a 1kva inverter that would allow us to finish any long installations. I have one machine still running windows 7 for some legacy software. No annoying updates.))No only prayer power that it won't take over 6 hrs. We've been caught twice. Eskom added that four open-cycle gas turbines at its Ankerlig peak power station were out of service until 15 March 2023.
