The Diesel for these need to be delivered by trucks anyway, its better for them to use the ones at Mosselbay which is connect to pipeline at petros. In the peak they had 250 trucks a day delivery diesel to ankerlig.
Probably the closest generation will ever be to demand for the next few years

Eskom has confirmed to Daily Maverick that the South African National Defence Force’s footprint has grown since the deployment was first announced toward the end of 2022. Despite this, incidences of crime are still being reported where members are present.
