I've never actually thought that when you put it like that, the percentage is a lot more shocking than the stage. Each stage is equivalent to 6-7% of end users offline...
Pretty much yeah scary thought hey

How do you get to that ? Each stage is equivalent to 1000 MW

Each stage is 2-2.5 hours in a 32 hour cycle, with 16 zones. Forget the MW, that has no direct correlation with how many users are shed, it's all about time slots.

Only 16,000MW can be load shed under the current schedules. The grid includes many contractual users (around 6-8,000MW) who cannot be load shed.
