I had a great UPS, pure sine wave, and a generator. Moved and sold it because it's extra to move down, and I'm getting solar on the new house anyway, only to get stuck with the world's largest delays... Lessons learned.

How do you get to that ? Each stage is equivalent to 1000 MW

Each stage is 2-2.5 hours in a 32 hour cycle, with 16 zones. Forget the MW, that has no direct correlation with how many users are shed, it's all about time slots.

Only 16,000MW can be load shed under the current schedules. The grid includes many contractual users (around 6-8,000MW) who cannot be load shed.
 
Stage 5 yet again, business as usual :(
