Nah, I got hit with that a couple of weeks back. Planned maintenance. But folks a block or 2 away were moaning this morning about an outage. Then someone posted on whatsapp group the City Power public announcement saying planned maintenance from 8.00-16.00...
We got our notice the night before the scheduled outage... clowns...

Not sure I believe it anyway, since when is an area turned off purposely for that long? Ruins people's food.
Sounds like emergency repairs, seems to be a new hide-the-tragedy attitude going around
