Maxed out on the diesel, pretty high demand, even know I switched off my AC :P

No not maxxed out on the diesel, Eskom has 20 OCTGS, they were 6 away from MAX. Though demand was really high for a summer Monday, wonder why.

Would they not need to implement LS if the need to use that amount would OCGT's continue? Do they have a sufficient amount of diesel to sustain this?

They probably would need to yes, if the demand remains around that high, they'd probably go stage 2. We need a 2GW buffer generally

Oook not sure what you're attempting to say? Load reduction happens every day and it is implemented in areas with high illegal connections and only on Eskom infrastructure.
Yes, it is ongoing, and it contributes substantially towards keeping the lights on for those that have legitimate connections. In fact it happens so often that I am sure that we forget about it when we look at demand, because it skews the figures quite a bit.

It contributes very little actually, maybe 100MW or a little more then that.

They pretty much saying that load shedding will start soon.
Not always, but close enough, sometimes if demand is lower which it starts to get around the weekend we could scrap by
