So we'll be going up to 6 instead of back down to 4 overnight. Sounds about right with this Eskom.
That declared availability looks a little low, even for Eskom. I'm not sure that is right. That would mean they just lost ~3GW overnight, which seems alot, even for Eskom. Does it take into account the pumped storage scheme and the renewables?

Do you think they'll safely step down to lower levels of load shedding or assume the worst
Probably just assume the worst. By tomorrow 4 more units will go down. Some of the coal will get wet. Someone will leave one of the doors open and the wind will make the fire go out. Etc.
There is some hope - festive season looming and the anc needs to score massive amounts of refresh points.
In doing so the existing ailing plant will be pushed harder than a clapped out taxi flying down Sandton drive
Same as yesterday... and the day before it would seem.
Pretty soon coal will be so low they will have to change the scale of the graph.
There can't be much diesel left at this point
