Hello there! I need some advice. I see some Manufacturers (Belkin, Netgear, etc) offer powerline options for networking. Do these products really work, and do they have to be plugged in straight into the wall socket or can you plug it into a multiplug with the rest of the plugs (i.e from your TV, DSTV, etc?)

I use the Netgear AV 200 plugs in my house to route between two wireless routers and to plug in my apple TV and they work brilliantly, they do get throughput on multiplugs but too enjoy the full throughput you have to plug them direct to the wall (there are No standard South Africa homeplugs so you will need an adapter which slows it down a bit already) ... pricey but brilliant for AV and extending your network where Wifi wont go.... I still have some Belkin 85 homeplugs that I used to use if you want to make an offer :)
