7th Gen core I cpu? Does it have a nvme slot?I heard there were workarounds, but haven't looked into the specifics. That being said, my laptop is 7 years old now and still runs a normal HDD. Think it might actually be a time for an upgrade. The question is just when and to what.
Most of my gaming is done on the PS5 so the desktop/laptop will be mostly productivity and browsing stuff.
You definitely don't want to be running windows on an HDD. Anything you buy now will probably be a massive upgrade.
