Anybody know of a better cash price of a data card than R1999. I want to buy one this week.
 
Im sure when HSDPA launches the old 3G cards might become alot cheaper. I will probably try and pawn mine off for cheap to get something with EDGE+HSDPA in a few months [as i'm in the middle of my contract, so cant get anything new without paying cash :(].
 
Vodafone mobile connect cards are already in SHORT SUPPLY.Prices will not drop

1. One of the normal vodaphone branded ones
2. Any Vodashop
3. Most likely is networked locked. (Dont forget vodacom is still linked to telkom, so this sort of thing runs in there blood)

The Novatel Vodaphone cards are not network locked. I've been using MTN prepaid on my card without any problems.

You can't help but to love the paranoia on the forum :)

I've not tested it myself, but a few forumites have reported no problems using the data cards on other networks....
 
Sorry Sorry.....you all know how it is with any thing assosiated with Telkom
