Predictions on where bitcoin will land

Any advice re protecting one self against the effects of hard fork?
In this particular case your btc will be safe in luno. (as in they'll adjust whichever way.

Otherwise keep your btc in a wallet like mycelium, Jaxx or blockchain.info where you have control over your seed.

O.k. Don't follow me into any trades. Didn't see that rebound coming. At least I pull out higher than it's now.

Wonder if that's the end?

:D The troops are holding sir.

I'm not putting anything into BTC until the 30/31st.

This rebound did help me hit a couple of targets on alts. Could shoot myself for pulling out of IOTA last night at my stop. Bloody strategy!

Yeah it's back to where it was 2 months ago. Wonder how many people jumped on the bandwagon and bought in the last two months. They're running at a loss and will probably want to get out of the market as soon as they break even again because of the scare.

Well, if you bought recently when it was like $1800.00 then that is a good thing right? Surely it would be better to hold and see what it happens. From what I understand, better to hold and ride out the ups and downs?

Depends on whether you're willing to risk it dropping even further.

It might drop again a bit, but then it might also recover again and gain a lot more ground in the long run. From what I have seen, it seems to have to hang on with these coins and try not to panic when it starts dropping. If anything, keep what you have and buy more when it drops so that you can buy at a cheaper price and then gain more when it gains strength again?

It is all a gamble as no rookie trader in this unregulated market will know what is happening on each exchange trading (or converting) BTC. Since each exchange is unique in this market, we will see how the many regions will react on the vote. I am still backing on the positives that LTC achieved.

Sjoe....ether having a good day.

I bought the bottom for a lot of alts. So I may have sold out of BTC, but I made it back in a few other places. Still would have been nice to have been in on the $1800 bus

11 more days... I can't buy BTC now, I think it's still going to do another drop. Maybe not the $1200 I guessed at the beginning. I'm revising that to $1500. Either way going long. I'd say we'll be bumping some highs towards the end of the year. <-- remind me

What just happened? Monster spike and climbing ($2600 at the moment). Went shopping, came back to my computer screaming at me. Where's the news?

Is it normal to be excited that the price "shot up" to where it was 2 weeks ago?

All I read is that its something to do about BIP91 going above 80%

Googled explanation.

"BIP91 is one way to preventmultiple Bitcoin blockchains competing*with one another. The goal of BIP91 is to prevent a chain split from happening by makeing BIP148 and*SegWit2x*compatible with one another. Considering how both concepts will activate on the network within 36 hours of one another, compatibility is of the utmost importance."
