Hi Guys,

I have a small question. What is the best and cheapest prepaid package from openweb? I want 1GB data just so me and my friends can play CSS online at my house.

What package is the best (latency) and cheapest (R/gig)?
Fully Unshaped
Semi-Unshaped
Shaped

Thanks

If you play on local servers you shouldn't need to worry about shaped vs unshaped, you probably wouldn't enjoy playing on international servers either way. I don't know Openweb's pricing, fyi you can get Afrihost prepaid at R15 a gig, expires after 3 months.

thanks for the quick reply :)

I am currently on openweb and I don't want to create a new account at afrihost, but if it doesn't matter if it's shaped vs. unshaped on local servers. I'm going to go for the Budget Unshaped fom R19/gig from Openweb

Just make sure your ISP is providing you access via
IS Fibre (preferred, because they peer with MWEB)
or
SAIX fibre

Afrihost uses IS Fibre and works very well indeed.

Reason I'm saying this; with all the options available at Openweb, I've chosen a few less desirable ISP's in the past that resulted in pathetic local latency (because they're either in Cape Town only, or on some crappy network....)

Okay I'm going to just buy the openweb one, but one more thing.

Can someone lend me Steam Acc? I have two, but we are three. So Please? :)
