Price reduction promise

All we want is to know when or "if" anything will happen. Not prices but just general stuff; will there be a price reduction? more bundles perhaps? maybe an uncapped or a high usage option for cheap (yeah right  )?

It's been two months and we don't know anything. Is MTN waiting for MNP to make an announcement?

The new bundles should be out in December if all goes according to plan

Any chance of getting details on the bundles before then? And maybe a lower out of bundle rate?

I'm sorry but I can't give any info at all

Cant or not allowed to? See you just said in december, that in business terms is just enough to make the other operators worry... I cant wait no more... When mnp comes, one of the networks could loose a big contract or 2

See... that wasn't so hard. ;) Thanks. :)

So there will be new bundles. I wonder if the price will stay the same for the old ones. It's been very long since MTN has had a price reduction.

Please let it be Vodacom. :D

Its November so if they want to release a new product why havent they started the promotions yet?

Most people will wait for 10 November to port. There's a 30 day waiting period. So they have until 10 December before they will lose anyone.

You have to port you number within 30 days of your application.Don't expect FANCY DEALS when MNP starts because nothing going to happen. You can expect a lot of marketing from next week

I think the main difference with MNP will probably be that offers won't be limited to new subscribers anymore.

Hmmm. I hadn't even thought of that ... could be good news. I've been with MTN since Adam & Eve had cellphones, and it's always been a sore point that they don't recognise subscriber loyalty, and that the best deals are there to entice new subscriptions, and to hell with 'old' subscribers.

But the high incidence of sms spam has also changed that .... at the end of my contract in December, I'll definitely be changing my number, and probably the provider, just so my number is not as transparent to spammers ...( at least for a while:mad: )
