Price reduction promise

Cell C doesn't but Virgin has got the money and the right people behind it to do something like that.

Yip - VM definately has the $$$$$$$$$$ and i hope they can do it as soon as possible then i'll be an even happier VM customer.

My 2c.

I could care less for the speeds, I want better rates. Cheap first, fast later.

Hardly makes a difference to me if I need to wait a little for a 20meg file. 20meg file @R2 = R40, or 20meg file @ 50c = R10.

A bit like the whole Telkom carp. Why do I need a 1meg line when I can still only afford 3GB per month??

I am not experiencing too bad speeds at the moment here in Cape Town.
Most of the time I set my fone to roam on VC ;)

No 3G yet will be here by December this year

So if Cell C has 3G then VM would automatically have it too - that's if they sign some 3G roaming agreement...which i think VM should pull off...hehe.
Then Cell C would actually be sharing the cost of extra network costs... :D

Probably wud roam off VC as it would make more sense business wise.
Rather use exsting infastructure than building new infastructure...and that's why they can be so cheap - basically they have less overhead cost involved.

Yup, yup

ya, but MTN and VC still make more than enough money to bring down cost a bit...
Is it becos they know they have some sort of monopoly at the moment in the 3G area? ;)

Regards

Correct me if I am right but I think its called a Duopoly... If you look at the most expensive bundles offered by VC and MTN and that cost per MB you can see how much they can drop their prices to. But I bet the reason they have these bundles is because its a garunteed income.

reason for havin these bundles is to make more cash.... if u are on a 1 gig bundle and only use 100meg they laugh all tha way to the bank

Duopoly between VC and MTN, yeah that's right.

Therefore i still thnk prepaid is the best.
Besides using VM prepaid is even cheaper. :D

Alternatively; you can fax the complaint to +27.11.678.2097 or at the following postal address:
What's with all the dots? It's not an internet address.
You have to port you number within 30 days of your application.Don't expect FANCY DEALS when MNP starts because nothing going to happen. You can expect a lot of marketing from next week
