nope. game still won't connect... and surfing's a tad sluggish tonite.
managed to get surfing up and running, but only after i installed Kerio Wingate again.
ICS is a joke! [

i am now certain that it's a routing problem (thanks to some SERIOUS help from greedyflyza - thanks for that mate, you're the MAN! [
])
soooo... now all I have to do is get the routing sorted... ugh.
any suggestions anyone? and DON'T tell me about the MTU crap, because it DOESN'T work... and if you're persistent that it does work, show me how - like you would a 3 year old kid... step by step...
i've enabled UPNPHost which, apparently, allows apps to dynamically open ports for a specified time - anyone know anything about this? This is another problem that I think i have to circumvent. SWG uses a whole bunch of odd ports, and I have to get them opened up. Easier said than done. I tried opening them, but I think the routing problem still gets in the way. I can see the packets go out, but they don't come back again.
Also, when I was installing Kerio it moaned about SSDPSRV being enabled, can someone tell me what that is?
Kerio is quite a cool app - very impressed with it - it succeeded where Microsoft ICS failed horribly. Now all I need to do is get the routing sorted out. [
