Proasm: Mysignal Reset

Hi, When I use the reset command in mysig. I have to restart my machine, otherwise I get a Fault in hardware error, is this correct?

yup, each time you do a reset you HAVE to restart your pc too...

or you can press that neat little power button on your modem and not worry about restarting your pc

either way, your choice

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

But even if I just push putton, still gives prob and I still have to reset...

Wierd - I reset modems each day with that button, thats why I put it there.
All it does is send this command to the modem:
AT^C1<cr>AT&T7<cr>

If you have to reboot you got a wierd problem - uninstall the modem software completely then reinstall it but dont register.
Go into your Registry and search for IPWireless PC Software and near the bottom you will see:
REG_REQ Yes
Make that say No
