My Billing was fine .. No extra charges detected .

yea er... i won't pay them directly if I were you. knowing them (from experience from telkom) they'd probably cut your service due to non-payment, even if you paid a week before the end of the month.

Autopage loves doing that as well

:D Now you make me wonder. Are you receiving the short end of the stick? I pay Autopage manually too - 1st of the month - and no cutoffs yet. Plenty of SMS's though.

Telkom is another story. Their billing and cutoffs are the reason I'm with iBurst already. :mad:
 
Yea see... a friend of mine is with Autopage, they send him a message saying how much he owes around the 20th of every month, he gets paid the 25th, so on the 26th he goes into the bank and deposits the money into their accounts.

He doens't fax through a deposit slip. And this happened several months in a row, that come the 1st of the next month, they just cut off his phone. They don't warn him, they don't sms him, they don't call him to ask nor do they credit it on his following month's bill... they just cut him off.

Now, I've had my contract with MTN ever since I can remember of actually having a cellphone. I have had 0 problems with them. I went direct instead of an agent *spit*, they usually the ones that screws things up for ya.
 
Aha. I fax the deposit slip through. Although this month I emailed it. Wonder when I'll be cut off. ;)

And yeah, I'm thinking of moving to MTN-SP when my contract expires.

Generaly within a day all billing issues are sorted out.

Shaun, although I (and others) appreciate your efforts, you can not handle 2500+ users call you for support. This is a general problem with Support and WBS lack of it. Like the email that was sent out the other day, very unprofessional. Incidents don't get updated, we have to speculate and converse umoungst ourselves to determine what is going on, slowly piecing together a puzzle with different comments from your helplessnessdesk.

If you can get that right, alot of your problems will dissapear.

We'd also like to know why WBS would go ahead and shape p2p AND implement a 3 gig cap, if we were to have a cap, then unshape everything, what do you guys care what we use the 3 gig for, we only get 3 gig!

It's less than 3 weeks to go, and not a single peep from WBS about :

a) Capping and when it will take place (including TESTING!!!)
b) Shaping, see my point above
c) PRICING ON ADDITIONAL BANDWIDTH!!!!!!!!!
 
Wonder if there isnt a global tweaking going on because earlier this week, or was lastweekend , the whole of Pta and Midrand tower were shown as down
 
After all there is some improvement in the up there. If one BS goes down you will be able to connect to others.
Soweto is Soweto alone.
 
ic i think its the upgrades it makes sense they would start on northcliff, bryanston. They'll probably end up doing my area on Thursday or soemthing.

ic, did it show in the network status that Brynston is down or degrading?

do they share infomation with their helpdesk or is confidential? :cool:
