Problem with Pastel My Business Version 3

I recently upgraded my PC to windows 10 from windows 8.
After upgrading I began to have a "Microsoft SQL is not running, please start it from the notification taskbar" error, however, a restart would usually get rid of the problem temporarily.

Today, I started getting a different error, "An Unexpected Error has occurred and the application will now tertminate"
Restarting makes no difference.

I can attach the error log file if you think it will help understand the problem.

Appreciate all help.
Thank you

Alternatively, if anyone knows how to move the business from pastel to another computer, that would work too

Perhaps the version of SQL server you are running is no longer fully compatible with Windows 10. Maybe try to see which version you are running in Add/Remove Programs and check if there are any service packs available on the MS website to install.

Pastel can be tricky.

I'd get the Windows 10 key and reinstall Windows 10 from scratch, then install all Pastel and components , it might save you headaches in the future.

I find with Pastel in general a clean install helps fix almost all issues and runtime errors.

ZAMO22 - my laptop was stolen last night. do you perhaps have a new installer of pastel my business 3.1.1 or at least 3.1

i have contacted pastel but they say they do not support the program anymore and thus have removed all the software from their website so i can no longer download it

if someone could put it on dropbox or something, it would be greatly appreciated!
