Nothing brought tears of joy like when I received my invoice after battling Telkom and then fighting NuDebt debt collectors collecting the debt for Telkom after I refused to pay and the kept running the billing for 4 months or so.....

I have tried this process but it does not work. On the last step it fails with no error message. Tried Chrome and IE. Doesnt work.
Just a update on this. Even though the account is zero and the credits passed and no outstanding balance Telkom listed me on ITC for bad debt in January already and I did not even know about it.
I knew when I got an invoice like that it was too good to be true. The fight is back on again....
I have the same issue, cancelled my ADSL line last year September, it is still active. Luckily i never went the debit order route, just payed them via EFT every month. So, I cancelled last year and haven't paid since.
Where do you check that? As I had issues cancelling with them as well. You probably already listed at all the major credit bureaus.

You need to check about 4 credit bureaus (or three) XDS, Compuscan, TransUnion and someone else. Each site has a place where you need to log a dispute and attach the proof.Where do you check that? As I had issues cancelling with them as well.
Someone needs to sue these fkn muppets. Absolutely ridiculous. My TM contract ended in April and I'm still getting billed. I disabled the debit orders and did reversals, but they still debit. ABSA then just automatically reverses the charge back to my account. Why can't anything be done to Telkom? This is blatant fraud.
Solution is to fill out the form in the shop, make your own copy with your cellphone and record yourself handing it over to the agent. Get the store manager's name at the same time for followup... then just make sure they credit you for all the months they billed after cancellation.
That does not work. I did that and spend hours on the phone trying to resolve it. Finally credited for everything and line cancelled just to find out I have been listed on itc for bad debt by Telkom. The fight continues now and I'm battling from September 2017....
