Hey guys. I need to setup a small studio for product photography. Should I get 1 or 2 of these kits? I was thinking of putting a table against a wall and having a backdrop go over it like this. I'm also going to build myself a turntable to do some 360 shots. It needs to be a seamless white photo of the product.

I already have my Cannon 50D and a good tripod.

How big are the products? You get these small softbox thingies which also work well but only for smaller items.

You can even make one yourself. I have never used continuos lighting so I can't comment on your link. I generally use a speedlite and a white piece of cardboard when I need to get a seamless white background. It works okay for small items.

Hi. The sizes will vary by quite a lot. I'm using continuous lighting because of the 360 degree photos.

If the products aren't too big, either buy or build yourself a light tent.
