What do you make of this?

Lately more and more people are buying into the new Proformance armbands.

I am extremely skeptical about stuff like this and simply cannot believe that a hologram or magnet or whatever can make you stronger and more flexible.

Logic tells me that if your muscles cannot lift a certain weight, a simple armband won't lift it for you.

Decide for yourself...

Personally it helps me spot the sheep. Kinda reminds me of the emperor's new clothes.

Although in their defense...if it does not do anything physically, but they believe it helps...and with such belief base, they actually think they perform better - then technically it does work, just not the way advertised. Kinda like a lucky charm.

Ponzi scheme and scam. Designed for very gullible people.

2 red smarties for headache, 2 green ones for stomach ache, etc

Pity you and I didn't think if it first. We could have made millions..!

Ditto on the sheep spotting - identify people with more muscles than brains

I think it can help for sure, it's called the placebo effect and believe it or not you can lift more weight if you actually think some armband is helping you :p

Agreed. All in the mind...

If they worked every athlete at the common wealth games would be sporting one...no?
sadly, its just the ones who are sponsored and paid to do so, who are..

It's like those flimsy "knee guards" in the old days. Basically a piece of stretch fabric, but it worked wonders and you could run all over the place if you had one on following an injury. Without it you could hardly walk!!!

There is some support for the physical band itself having some benefit. (Think weightlifting belts) Thats assuming its correctly used which probably isn't the case with these gimmick things.

The hologram part is clearly BS.

I've changed my mind about them lately though. The hologram ones are awesome....because its a tax on the stupid.

How about copper bracelets?

Asking seeing copper has biomedical applications.

i HAVE PROOF!!!!!
I was asked to collect some 'Quantum bracelets" from a distributor to take to a dealer.

Jirre Boet, my car took off like a Turbo Porsche. I could hardly cope with the very rapid acceleration and bends were negotiated with smoke pouring from the tyres. I blew any car off the road; they didn't have a hope in hell. Best of all, the fuel gauge hardly moved.
All due the scaler energy generated form the bracelets.

Some people believe everything and anything. Read about scaler energy.

My wife has one and I told her it was all in the mind. Anyway I did a MTB race this weekend and thought I would wear it to see if it helped my balance and make me stronger like it claims. I fell off my bike and I was still tiered when I finished....

But did your scars heal within seconds? Wolverine style?

I watched Wiz4rd's video now and did all the tests with 4 of my employees. I gave them an old keyring that looks fancy.

They couldn't believe it!!! WOW!!!

i personally have one, and it works for me, i definitely sleep better, so yeah it works in principle for me.

The reason you won't really get anyone willing to stick their head out here and say yes it works for me is because you guys are soo damn demeaning, if its a placebo effect then GREAT, who cares?

It must do some good since its been banned from most sporting events ranging from golf to swimming, so yeah maybe the placebo works just TOO well (isn't that just interesting)

A friend of mine told me about kids doing judo, they were fighting one another and someone attached one of the bands onto the losing opponent without him knowing and it gave him more strength and once they removed it there was less strength to give the losing opponent a chance to win the fight.

my 2c

Thought they advised against wearing it when you sleep ? As for the kids Judo story what a load of poppy cock.
