I'm pretty sure this is relatively simple but the instructions are not - and remotes.co.za tells me "Something Really Cool Is Coming Soon" ...
I bought a new remote for my gate and alarm - see attachment - and am trying to program the buttons based on my current remote. The instructions are less than lacking, and are not very clear at all. Also, the layout (surprise!) of the board does not match the one I have ...

So, does anyone know how I can program the new remote?

As far as I know, these remotes can switch between code hopping on or off per button. But the programming is not on the remote, but instead on the receiver. You put the receiver into programming mode, then you press the button you want to use for that receiver a few times until the receiver learnt the button remote combo.

On the gate motor for instance you take off the cover and on the pcb you short bt and the middle pin while pressing the remote and let go, the led will give you an indication if it's successful.

On the garage motor it is set -> r -> press button -> set.

Best to download the manuals.

Tinuva, krieg, thank you. I forgot that I need to do that on the actual device ... Let's see if I can find any instructions on this for the alarm ...
