Programming Languages in Bachelor of Science in Computing Unisa

I want to find out what programming languages you learn in Bachelor of Science in Computing degree that UNISA offers.

I am currently living in UK (I am South African and have studied teaching via UNISA) and have been studying Web development through a college here, but would like to further my studies.

The only problem is that UNISA doesn't specify the languages you will be learning. I'm not sure wether it would be better to apply for the degree in informatics instead, as that should focus entirely on programming languages if I have this correct?

Hope someone can help. Much appreciated in advance.

Incorrect, you'd just end up with more informatics modules and miss out on important subjects like theoretical computer science and maths (linear algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete maths)

In Computing UNISA used to use C++ as a main language, Assembly, Delphi (might be Python now) and Javascript (for WebGL) if you choose the computer graphics elective in your final year.

You don't study computer science if you just want to focus on programming languages, the field is much bigger than that.

Get the list of modules, if you Google the module code (e.g. COS2611 data structures) you will get the information about which teaching language is used

Thank You, It makes more sense now. I have done networking and other computing related studies through my course, I did a quick search on informatics and that's how I came across this information, I should've done some proper research.
