Excellent everyone, if you all wouldn't mind giving me a couple of days. I at least want to send all of you the final version of Linobuntu. Just perfecting it.

However to be honest I must add this, for version 2 I do want to start a community that will help to develop it. The reason for saying this, looking at distros such as Mandriva 2009 and Fedora 10.

They are very polished, I think Ubuntu could learn a lot from them, this is where I want Linobuntu to close the cap. Bring the features from the others to Ubuntu (Linobuntu)

Let Linobuntu version 1 be a tweaked version of Ubuntu and let Linobuntu version 2 be something better and more dedicated to the end user.

Just busy playing with Mandriva 2009. Damn I am so impressed it is not funny.

This is the distro that I want Linobuntu to live up to. For that it will take a lot of work but it is acheievable.

Just an update

Linobuntu is not dead but still very much alive. Currently waiting on the final release of 8.10. Those of you who sent me their address's you will receive your Linobuntu as soon as Linobuntu 1 is released.

Linobuntu 1 is expected out in early December. Beta 2 is expected during middle November.

Cool... just stay away from RC.... if you do a full update on it then the wifi drivers don't work anymore. Out of the box it does, though.
