Project to cut telecoms costs

OK, So currently you can get uncapped for say R1000, will you then in the light of the article with the launch of seacom get even more uncapped for the same R1000?
 
LoL.. Cyberdude good one. I was hoping uncapped would be a BIT cheaper- say around R600 a month. You'll see practically EVERYONE on that package. Unfortunately T.I.A- we're always backward. Especially when it comes to broadband. Just gotta take it like a man and deal wit it.
 
Working on new products when Seacom land = 1month
Working on how to shaft the SA public = 3months
 
This is starting to sound a little dissapointing. Don't know if anything will change when it comes. The cable aint gonna change the amount of local bandwidth available in the country :(

Are people being paid to write these articles ? I mean how many of these stories do we see a week , " mmm i`m broke , let me write a story that contains no real new news in any way and then get some take aways "

1 year b4 seacom lands = All fireworks, seacom will lower telecoms costs by a factor of 10
6 months b4 = seacom will land soon, be ready for a completely new landscape
almost landing = seacom will NOT, repeat (to the power of 10? or maybe a bit more to come) NOT, lower prices.

And how many times have we read this? As long as the greedy telecoms companies can continue to charge high prices without loosing customers, they will, and why will they loose customers? we have no choice. There will be a duopoly of hellkom and neohell, and then maybe a tri-poly or 500'poly, thats just the way things works here.

Remember, there isn't just one newspaper in South Africa. Not everyone reads more than one paper a day. Look at the author of each before you bitch about reading it over and over.

Typical, the guys are panicking thinking of how they can keep making their millions off of us.
the best they can come up with that you will get more for the same money.
Bugger that I want costs to come down. If you look at the retail cost per GB currently and what it will be when seacom lands there are two VERY different figures involved.
