Projector or 42" lcd

Got mine just now from Itai so shall see tonight if it was worth it (maybe even try to get it ready for the cricket :)
 
Ya they coming as soon as the maid(domestic worker) is done today :)

the house was a wreck from our puppy, so everything will be photographed tnite :)
 
Got mine going but just using a wall at the moment, no curtains and it is still clear, watching the cricket and drinking whiskey :)
 
No i think its over 1m long will measure again tnite :), finally the domestic is gone will shoot some photo's now now.

Very good man, the picture quality is amazing for a 5k projector.

I found stuff like soccer and that the picture is not clear clear but then again its not totally clear on a small tv either.

I have seen many 42" lcd's and i am happy with my choice :). Watching arsenal play everton last night was off the chart awesome :).

Please test something for me. Open your curtains during the day and see what the picture is like. Could you watch TV like that?

Where are these pics I am hearing about :) I love my LCD for gaming but wouldn't mind a projector in the bedroom for DVD's :D
 
Please test something for me. Open your curtains during the day and see what the picture is like. Could you watch TV like that?

I used minethe whole day Friday to watch cricket and i have no curtains but once the sun came out it was a problem though luckily cricket was finished by then.

Then watched a couple of movies later that night and it worked a charm :)

Thanks. Question is, would a 2400 ANSI lumens projector really deal any better with the sunlight?
 
I personaly believe no projector will handle sunlight but that from personal experience. In cloudy daylight it was great but the setting sun was way to much for it
