I eat the whole wheat version from time to time, as it taste much more like the original (from the 90s) than whatever they cooked up a few years ago when they changed the recipe. Now, with the whole wheat gone, they made the decision for me...

If I win the powerball, I won't tell anyone, but pronutro will taste "right" again. :)

And before ppl say oh we that kak yes we do, you eat a$$ and no one bats an eye. lol

Well, considering they are both soya concentrate with maize, sugar and chemicals, they're very much alike. I wouldn't eat either one of them, of the three, weetbix has much less sugar, no soya, no maize, or chemical, i would choose weetbix.
Chemical?? Like milk?
They have to by law break down everything going into food like below.
So it'll be scary looking, but technically it's now just more broken down then in the past.

Ingredient: Milk (cow’s milk)
Contains:

Water (H₂O) ~87%

Lactose (C₁₂H₂₂O₁₁) ~4.8% (milk sugar)

Milk fat (triglycerides; primarily C₅₅H₉₈O₆ and similar molecules) ~3–4%

Proteins ~3.2%

Casein proteins (α-, β-, κ-casein)

Whey proteins (β-lactoglobulin, α-lactalbumin)

Minerals (“ash”) ~0.7%

Calcium (Ca²⁺)

Phosphorus (PO₄³⁻)

Potassium (K⁺)

Magnesium (Mg²⁺)

Sodium (Na⁺)

Vitamins (trace amounts)

Vitamin A (retinol)

Vitamin D (cholecalciferol, often fortified)

Vitamin B₂ (riboflavin)

Vitamin B₁₂ (cobalamin)

Well, milk doesn't necessarily get added to ProNutro that the average poor person gets given at a feeding scheme, more usually water.. Also I reckon these people aren't going to be eating fruit and veg and meat either so i suppose the added vitamins are better than a kick in the pants. Oh well!

WeetBix has been my breakfast cereal of choice for almost my >40 years working life. Tried corn flakes, Rice Krispies, ProNutro, All Bran flakes etc., but always went back to WeetBix. Rice Krispies was the worst, I felt hungry again very soon after having it for breakfast. Three biscuits of WeetBix lasted me from breakfast at 06:00 till 12:00 lunchtime.

stopped eating Pronutro loooooooong ago when I realised it is mostly just soy

this was before anyone cared about genetically modified stuff vs wholefoods, I just happen to be allergic to soy, best allergy to have btw, you will NOT miss eating soy

Honestly haven't had "traditional" pronutro in years so didn't know they changed. I do like the pronutro bars though! That's my now frame of reference for the brand
