Proxy that will only display text

Is there any proxy that can strip all content off a page and just display the text. Like a FB news feed as an example, just return only status messages, no picture etc.

I've looked into Squid but I thought I'd ask here before committing to anything.

Squid + Diladele (aka QLProxy).

QLProxy can strip ads... - possibly with some work images etc too.

Squid is great for this. You can feed it PHP scripts to do this for you. You should probably replace the images by white images of the same size, to prevent from destroying the layout.
