PS2 what does it all do?

i was googling the cheats earlier but i did not find anything but i did it half hearted as i want to do it without cheating. :D

thats what i am trying to do and when i think i have it a Jap gets me.

I don't think there is a problem with XP.

First lets check if everything is setup on your PC.

1. Turn off your windows firewall
2. Make sure you have "Simple file sharing enabled, To enable Simple File Sharing:
My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View Tab
At the bottom you will see the option "Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended)", so place a mark in the box and click OK.
3. Make sure your shared directory is named correctly and everyone has read and write access, the share name should be "PS2SMB".
4. Get your IP address, click on Start > Run , type cmd. At the command prompt type ipconfig /all, this will give you your network settings, take note of your IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.

Check your settings on OPL

Navigate to network Config

For PS2

The settings must be in the same range as your PC, i.e. if your PC's ip address is 192.168.0.1 set your PS2 ip address to 192.168.0.10.

Subnet Mask and gateway must be the same as your PC

For PC

Type in your PC's ip address
The share name should be "PS2SMB"

Save the settings and goto network games to see if it works

Also make sure your games are loaded to your pc in the usbadvance format using this tool USBUtil V2

I think i might having a problem with the IP's. I'm sure my PC Ip is 192.168.1.2 and my router IP is 192.168.1.1. So I should input it as

PS2 IP: 192.168.1.20 <_ that right?
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

And my PC Ip should be 192.168.1.2? I have turned off my firewall but still no luck it keeps sticking on 1 during the countdown  lol I will figure this out!

EDIT: Got it working! Lol I err had it on the wrong port... 445 NOT 455 smh what an idiot, thanks for your help :)

Thanks! Just ripping some games now :D

well i managed to kill the tanks and go through another couple of missions but when i must start a British Mission the game loads forever. i think there's a problem with that copy.

i find that the channel i have on for the games has bad interference and you cannot hear anything on the games. I have scanned the tv for another channel but nothing changes.

no i just plugged it in to the aerial socket at the back of the tv, it worked perfectly (sound) for about a week i think.

Lol chap. Upgrade to AV cables. It may seem daunting at first at how technology is blistering in development, but just do it.:D

the tv has but the console has no other openings except the USB ports.

A big thanks to Madman88 who sent me some games he had packed away and now my daughter is playing Sims 2.
