It's worth it now IMO, the library is decent and there's some pretty awesome games coming in the next few weeks...
Won the PS4 in a competition at work. Still sealed and getting the slip so I can exchange it for the XBone.
My Live game library built up from the 360 and the Kinect (want girl to do the fitness exercises) is enough for me to get one atm. (assuming the live games from the 360 generation works?) Will actually google that now
So if you had either console and purchased their store apps/games, maybe weigh that in into your decision if i can provide help..

Think my problem is as I said in earlier posts I am weary of when the PS4 v2 will be coming out won't it be better to wait till then?

I'm afraid I have some bad news for you... Nothing from the 360 works with the Xbone, not peripherals, not games, nothing. Except your live sub.

Why wait, the system is pretty reliable, I've had mine almost since launch and no issues yet. There are a few complaints that required swap-outs, but we're talking less than 1%, which would be the case even if you wait...
Though it may prove more reliable and also cheaper to purchase...

Okay wait, I can't find anything on "Live" games compatibility. I realize full games, but what about the ones in the live store? That is what I was referring to in my original post. Just to clarify that part for me please?

FNB has a fantastic deal on the PS4 R380 p/m X 24 moths no interest. Just don't want to get it and 6 months later the next gen updated console comes out.

Dude, just buy one if you want one.
The PS3 Slim came out 3 years after the original one. We haven't even had the PS4 for a year.

All my friends play FIFA. It's a football thing. The only other game I would buy is Naruto.
If Sony ever decides to release or resurrect a sequel to " Shadow of the colossus", then I'd get that too. Racing games just bore the crap out of me.
