Sony seem to be doing pretty well without GamePass...

Sony remains the market leader when it comes to driving spend, accounting for 46% of all revenues generated in the console market. Meanwhile, Nintendo's share dropped to 29% -- 2% less than in 2020 -- while Microsoft rose 1% to 25%.

I am increasingly happy I went with Sony to start off this generation, many games, even now a year later, run better on the PS5, and I will happily admit I thought it would be the other way around initially. But then again, "console market" doesn't really tell the whole story any more, the main reason to get an XB is if you don't have/want a PC as all their games (at least current and prev gen) are effectively Multiplatform aren't they?

True. When we were having that lovely "vs" debate, a point raised was that GP effectively gave you a reason not to buy the XBSX if you already had a PC.

I think they release on both PC and XBox day 1.

100%, I am now selling my XBSX because of my GPU acquisition

Which was the route that I took and now, 12 months later I acquired an S 'cos PC graphics cards are too frikken expensive. Nice thing is I can play S downstairs or upstairs (via remote play) on my PC.

Well pleased with my purchase of both the S and Gamepass (3 year deal).

yeah, super cereal.

got a PC in my lounge now with a 3070ti, lap board (k63), wireless mouse and spare series X controller.
So I get the awesomness of gaming from my couch on my OLED, while also being able to do mostly 4K ultra via DLSS

Nice. Enjoy :)

Joke aside, I am still playing Forbidden west, and loving it.

Sadly I have to share cause my wife is also playing it. I am starting wonder if she bought it for me or secretly wanted it for herself....
We have no such problems, we both saved for the ps, and we both play through what ever we buy. Been like that since ps3 :)

Forbidden West on 4k at 60fps, is f***ing lovely.

Any news on when another shipment will drop?
Looking to get one especially for Gran Turismo 7, haven't played a proper GT game since GT4 on PS2.

You are a definite masochist :)

Heh, maybe hey. But I just really enjoy challenging games, I find it much more rewarding. Sadly many games (of the AC flavour and the like), as great as they are, kinda just put me to sleep.
