On today’s IGN The Fix: Games, Sony is being sued for £5 billion ($5.9 billion) over the price of its online PlayStation Store prices, with the plaintiff claiming Sony is overcharging consumers and abusing its position as the primary seller of PlayStation games digitally.

So what will this controller go for is the big question? Seeing as the normal one is already at R1500 - this will probably be more than double. In other words closer to XB elite controller prices?

But...it does look like a nice controller. Wonder if they'll make it in the different colours as well? Not a huge fan of the glossy black parts though.

But those Elite controllers are actually customisable. My issue with all the after market fittings, like the PS Back buttons for PS4, and RISE 4 for PS5, is that they are all button remaps, not custom config

Also love the fact that you can program the dead zones if you ever develop stick drift. Only problem is the dam PS button to turn the console on/off, everything else is covered.

I use mine on Emulation station cause of the ease on remapping for older games that have odd configs.

Hold on, so that 8Bit what what can reprogram buttons on standard controllers?
 
Sweet, back buttons at last! I pretty much avoid any games that require L3/R3 because that destroys my thumbs.

I've been saving up for a PS5 for a while (and for the TV to go with it).

I am going to be HIGHLY FECKED OFF if the price goes up now!
