Indeed! I actually haven't played a single cross platform game since the PS5 launched. I simply cannot bring myself to play the inferior version when there's a vastly superior PS5 version out there... So for the last two years I've only been playing indie games here and there. Sigh!And Gotham Knights is only available on PS5 , time to upgrade

And here's me waiting for the usual price decrease which always happens after 2 or so years
I remember saying I will wait until March 2021 when the supply shortage is over and the over inflated launch price comes down to a more decent level.
Well exactly. There has always been a slim model which is a bit cheaper after a couple of years
Instead, the bastards increase prices!
There have been some small world-wide events that changed things this time......

Thinking about increasing my sub to PS Extra.
Go for it. They apportion the cost for the rest of the year with your current PSN plus subscription. Then its an automatic R1300 a year renewal. Which is what I was happy to drop on a single game before.

You may be able to get a refund if you are on that tier of PS Plus. A friend was telling me he got a refund after he bought a came that appeared on plus a few days later. I think you just need to email the support and ask
