Ps5 arriving today after a stint of 2 years joining the master race.Looking forward to playing games in the lounge with the kids again. PC will stay when I want to be reclusive.
Welcome to the club. If you're buying a ps plus sub I'd recommend just buying a 3 month for now because there's always a sale for an annual sub around black friday / days of play.

Nice. Then grab an annual sub while it’s available. I bought a few on special some years back so I’m subbed till Dec next year.

Ah, I created my PSN account on my old PS4 in SA years ago. Ended up getting a 12 month premium sub at R1400 this morning which jumped at as if I switched my account to EU the sub would have cost me 120 euro so R2400. Saved a grand.
Damn gaming is pricey over here. Thanks for the heads up. Will check it out for the next 12.

Did you buy the disc version? If so check for secondhand game shops in your area...I ran into a little shop here in the UK randomly that sold a ton of games at decent prices. GoW:R was £35 iirc

From R1429 to R1879 for PS Plus Deluxe yearly sub. Not worth more than Gamepass IMO but what can you do, might move to Extra and save a little since I don't really bother with classic titles or trials much.

Hi all. Hoping you can help me and new to console gaming. I bought a second hand original PS4 at the beginning of the year. Today I took the plunge to PS5. Awaiting delivery.
I have some questions…
1. Was a correct in thinking R11 800 for a brand new PS5 disk edition with 2 controllers is a great buy in current market?
2. I preordered the new FIFA (which is not FIFA - EAFC 24). I had purchased that a couple weeks ago. Still hasn’t released so not downloaded yet. Will that be available for my PS5 although when I bought game I had no PS5 linked to my account.
The support on PS5 website is painstaking and live chat seems to be only BOT.

Assume point 1 was actually meant to be PS5, and not PS4, then seems like a great deal, as it's currently R16600 on Koodoo
On point 2, it should download the PS5 version, assuming you already redeemed it on your PS4, using your Playstation account

Spidey fans keen to hear first-hand reports of how Insomniac’s hugely-anticipated new sequel, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, actually feels to play are in luck this week as Insomniac has just revealed the first hands-on previews of the game are set to drop this weekend.The studio ran two major preview events, inviting press and content creators to locations in both Los Angeles and London to get their hands on the game, and has flagged that the embargo for impressions from these events lifts at 1AM on Saturday, September 16th AEST.
