Anyway, if i can't find a simple working solution that does not involve hours of clicking sonarr is out and sickbeard is back :/

yes.
Then it added all of it to "missing" as there is only recently downloaded stuff on that pc.
I have now set all my series to unwanted to stop it from trying to download stuff I already have.
In Sonarr series editor (where you can mass edit only has 2 options), monitored and unmonitored.
No continue type option.
Seems it's all or nothing and I really don't want to download everything again just to get a program working. That would be Terabytes worth of stuff.
This is the way I did it.
In Series view, click add series:

Then click on Import Existing Series On Disk:

Then browse to your series folder and click the green arrow:

Then it should list all the series you have in that folder. I didn't play with the drop down list (where you can choose to only look for future episodes or all of them), I only clicked on the green plus in the bottom right. This added my existing series, and although it showed missing episodes it didn't try and download them. Changing the missing seasons to unmonitored just makes it look better so that there is no red. If you click on the magnifying glass icon, it searches for all missing episodes as well, this I only did for new shows I want to download.

Did you do it this way as well? This is probably a pain if you have a lot of series, but I only added shows that are still ongoing. Series that have ended you don't need to add to Sonarr.
Also, try the Season Pass feature (next to series editor). Looks like it might be what you need to quickly set all your series to latest season only.
What's plex watch?
Sonar is out, Sickbeard is in, I'll give Sickrage a go next.
I only have an issue trying to get older stuff and that is the main reason I am willing to switchBeen using SB for ages, and hardly ever have the need to visit it. New shows I add from my phone, and just leave it to automate everything.
These other apps sound interesting. Will check them out one day. But for now, nothing broke so will just leave it as it is.
Where did you find that in Sonarr?
Those are the options available to you when you add a new series.
Ahh so I can not do it with any series already in Sonarr?
Seems all I have is Monitor> Yes/No
If you can I haven't figured out how.
I've removed a few series and then added them again. One of the shows my missus enjoys suddenly had the entire season four queued up because a new release was added to the indexer. Rather than remove them all individually it was easier to delete it and add it again.
It was doing that to me and after remove it would just put them back again unless I stopped monitoring the entire folder.
I have uninstalled it now, going to try sickrage soon.
Sonarr looks promising but I think it needs to hit version 3 before I try it again
IF you have a RPI 2 then install OpenElec v5.0.8 add the AUDO Addon - you can find the .zip on the github forms.
Then setup SABNZDB, SickRage, CouchPotato and HeadPhones. your one stop shop for automation
1 Think do no upgrade to 5.92.1 + there is and issue with SickRage and it should be getting fixed soon i hope. I read this on the forums some where.
I'll try it again if sickrage sucks. I left settings as default when adding series.Nothing wrong with the current version you just didn't set the monitor status correctly when adding your shows.
If you added your main series folder to Sickbeard and set everything to "wanted" when adding, you would of had the same problem there, wondering why it's not working.
You don't monitor everything in Sonarr, just like you don't set everything to wanted in sickbeard. it's simple really.
