Puppies killed for food - cops

Dogs and humans have formed a symbiotic relationship and thus I class any culture or creature that considers dogs to be food nothing more than animals. This is disgusting.
 
The only requirement should be that they be killed as quickly and painlessly as possible. Beyond that it would simply be hypocritical to moan about someone eating dogs when I have no problem eating other animals.

Of course if he did steal someone else's dogs, then that's a theft, an entirely different matter.

I don't do veal. I just don't get how you kill then eat puppies.... Maybe they were very ugly puppies..

I once watched a documentary called Earthlings (watch from 10:00 min to 17:00 min) about unwanted dogs that are killed every year. Instead of letting those dogs get killed because no one wants them and then burn them or throw them away, wouldn't it be better if those dogs are killed and then get given to the poor so they can feed? Less wastage! We have been preconditioned by society and largely the western culture that dogs are a man's best friends and would be despicable if dogs are eaten. For a poor country such as South Africa, adopting the Chinese culture of eating dogs will be a good idea.

Once you create a dog eating culture no dogs would be safe. Imagine waking up to find all your dogs have been stolen because someone is hungry.

not sure if i am in the mood for puppy.
Been finding maltese poodle's although tender, the amount of hair that gets stuck between my teeth can be equated to dealing with all the bones in trout.
Greyhounds and the like, i find a bit gamey.
Although there is little as succulent as pan fried spaniel served with orange jus & rocket. :D
 
Killing and eating dogs shouldn't be an issue for those that eat other animals.

The issue I have with eating dogs is that they are carnivores. I don't really know what the reason is but I have been brought up believing that carnivores are not really suitable for human consumption. Would you hunt and shoot a lion and then go and braai the damn thing?

If it's tasty... More importantly I think lions are just much more difficult and dangerous to hunt for a spear thrower.

Being a vegatarian is a choice im happy with.



/ Whats wrong with a lion on a braai anyways ? Wont it taste like chicken ????
 
Enough recent controversy in media with the content of meat products.

How would one know if there is mixed dog meat in a wors ?:erm:
