Puppies killed for food - cops

Wont it taste like chicken ????
Most certainly not. Birds and reptiles might taste like chicken, being closely related, but I know of no mammal that tastes like chicken. It'll taste wild and probably quite a bit more tough.

Might just have to use a lekker marinade.... nothing to do about the toughness i suppose.

Rather dry the meat biltong-like.

It would never be OK to eat a pet. Be it a fish, rabbit, hamster, cat or dog. How would you like to come home one day from work to find your beloved pet blungend to death for someone's stew.

How can someone eat a companion that loves you no matter what. I would kill if one of my pets became someone's dinner.

I know! Why not start eating people instead. Much more meat and there's definitely a few I can think of that won't be missed.

So it's ok to eat a wild rabbit or farmed/wild fish because a human hasn't developed an emotional bond with it? Or is all meat eating unethical? Or is this instance unethical due to property rights violations?

What about if it only loves you a little bit? Or not at all? or maybe its just staying in your prison for the food... Perhaps it would swap prisons were it to get free food and shelter elsewhere? What about if its not willing to defend you, or is of little practical utility? (I don't see cats and fish being very useful in this regard).

It may come to that, if our options run out. But till then, I should imagine domesticated animals are a lot easier to farm and slaughter than humans. How would you propose we go about selecting human food candidates?
