Anyone know where can I buy a 32" - 40" LCD display/monitor (preferably without TV tuner) that I can use as a PC monitor without having to buy a TV licence?

I really don't want to buy a TV licence for my computer.

Oh, I thought that because it doesn't have TV tuner you can buy without a TV licence? Or am I wrong? Wonder how all the businesses buy their monitors for their offices....

Esquire didn't ask for my license when I bought a HiSense 32" cheapie for the office last year (used as TV).

Where do you find a 40" monitor without a TV tuner... >32" seems to all be "TV"s and not "Monitors"

If it doesn't have a tuner, you don't need a licence

Or if you know someone with a foreign passport then you can show that instead of buying a TV license.

Really? Is that an assumption that you are non resident with a holiday home or you're taking it back to your country?

I bought a 42" lcd and plugged my decoders into it. I have no TV tuner. Do I still need a TV licence?

Ya seems to be, only ever tried it at HiFi Corruption a while back. Got a zim passport and just said I was taking it back home.

I've got a British one.

'honest mate, I'm taking the 55" plasma as hand luggage.... '

You find them, at least, in the digital signage space - kit like the LG M4210LCBA - pdf As a bonus you get something designed for 24/7 operation...

:( seems like there's no clear way of doing this
Okay, sure ..but how is a full HD panel with no problematic tuner in it not clear? Or is there some other impossible to meet parameter where it falls short?
